About this site: After an unforgettable trek through the jungles of Sumatra, Melissa and Logan were deeply moved by their experience and the incredible connection they formed with their Amri. Inspired to make a difference, they decided to bring greater awareness to the option of booking directly with these exceptional local guides, rather than relying on foreign tour companies. Recognizing that many local guides lack access to computers or email, they created this dedicated website to support these guides in promoting their unique and enriching tours, ensuring their valuable contributions are celebrated and sustainable tourism thrives in Sumatra. Melissa and Logan are in no way affiliated with Orang Bukit Lawang Local Guides, all questions should be directed directly to Amri at the What’s App number listed.
